In order to facilitate the storage of plastic cans, increase the stability of the plastic tank, the bottom of the plastic tank should be designed in the groove.

(2) when the plastic tank surface adopts the label, the label should be smooth. A "frame" can be designed on the surface of the plastic tank to accurately locate the label and not generate movement. In blow molding, the first contact part of the billet bulking, always tends to harden. So the wall is a little thicker. The edges and corners are the last contact parts of the billet, and the wall thickness is smaller. Therefore, the edge of the plastic tank and the area of the horn should be designed into rounded corners. Changing the surface shape of the plastic tank, such as the middle of the plastic tank, and adding the surface of the plastic can to the groove or the convex rib, can improve the rigidity and bending of the plastic tank. Longitudinal grooves or reinforcing bars can remove the deflection, drooping or deformation of plastic cans under long-term loads.

(3) the printing surface of plastic can is the most concentrated part of the consumer's attention. The printing surface shall be flat and continuous; If the plastic tank contains handles, grooves and reinforcing bars, the design should be careful not to cause inconvenience to the printing operation. The elliptical plastic can also has a high rigidity, but the manufacturing cost is high. Therefore, in order to ensure the stiffness of plastic tank, besides the materials with high stiffness, the stiffness and load resistance of plastic can be strengthened through the shape of plastic tank.

(4) since most plastic has the notch sensitivity, plastic cans at sharp corners, mouth thread roots, in areas such as the neck, prone to fracture and cracking phenomenon, so these parts should be designed with rounded corners. For the transfer of rectangular plastic tank, most of the load of plastic tank needs to be supported, so the wall thickness of the area should be increased locally, and the stiffness and load resistance of plastic can be improved.
